The programme has been granted scholarships from the European Union Erasmus Mundus Programme for 2010-2012
The course content has been developed around three interconnected themes: strategy, control and integration. These themes reflect the core strength of each University.
In study period one, Heriot-Watt University, provides a high-level strategic underpinning to project planning, strategy formulation and implementation in organisations. During this period students will undertake research and organisational workshops, Italian language classes and integration with industry practitioners.
In study period two at MIP School of Management - Politecnico di Milano, the focus is on the function, purpose, creation and management of appropriate control mechanisms in strategic projects.
In study period three at USBE, Umea School of Business, students embed their learning using an intergrated and research-based approach to strategic thinking and project management, through two intergrated modules and a Master level Thesis.
Students will also have the opportunity to complete PRINCE 2 practitioner qualification at a special rate.
